Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP) Hair Growth Therapy

About the treatment

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich-Plasma. PRP for hair loss is a non-surgical way to fight hair loss. PRP for hair loss works for both male and female clients who want to stimulate hair follicles to grow back lost hair. This is a problem that many people face for a variety of reasons, including stress, alopecia, and hereditary hair loss.

The procedure starts by collecting blood from the patient which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma. The dermatologist will then inject the plasma into the scalp. Even though this is a non-surgical option, the injections do involve some discomfort. PRP for hair loss is a well tolerated procedure that many people are turning to with help compensating for hair loss.
